Dr. S. Venkatesh is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his Post-Doctorate in the area of Multi-cyclone arrangement for emission control in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India in 2022 as institute funded category and received his Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Emission control equipment called cyclone separator from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2018. Dr. Venkatesh has 12 years of teaching experience, 3 years of industry experience, and 2.6 years of post-doctoral work experience. He is a recognized research supervisor in Anna University Chennai and has four research scholars pursuing their Ph.D under his guidance. His areas of interest include gas cyclone separators, hydro-cyclone and Venturi scrubbers, particle flow analysis, CFD, multi-phase flow and Optimization of industrial emission control equipment geometries. His research work includes mitigating pollution in the various industries such as Chemical engineering industries, Foundry, Cement factory and Coal mining sector etc. He is the author of The Gas Cyclone Separator - A Review and An Introduction to Safety and Risk in Industries as well as multiple articles in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals. Dr. M. M. Matheswaran is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Jansons Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in 2006 and his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in 2009, both specializing in Mechanical Engineering, and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2020, with his research focusing on solar thermal systems. With over 15 years of diverse experience spanning industry, teaching, and research, he has significantly contributed to the field of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests are centered on solar thermal conversion systems, thermal energy storage for low and medium-temperature applications, and heat transfer. Dr. Matheswaran has published 25 papers in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and book chapters and edited the book Solar Thermal Conversion Technologies for Industrial Process Heating (CRC Press). In addition to his academic achievements, he has filed six patents, with three at the international level and three at the national level. He has been awarded grants through prestigious competitions such as the Onion Grand Challenge, Idea for Change Challenge, and Yukti Innovation Challenge, all aimed at product development in the field of solar thermal technology. S. Vijayan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. He received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees from Anna University in 2006, 2011, and 2018, respectively. He pursued postdoctoral studies at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, specializing in solar thermal energy storage, from December 2019 to May 2022. As a Co-Principal Investigator, he completed a Department of Science and Technology (DST), India-funded research project titled "Development of Solar Evacuated Tube Collectors with Inserted Baffles for Direct Air Heating in Industrial Applications." He has authored more than 32 peer-reviewed international journal publications, 15 international and national conference papers, and 8 book chapters. His editorial work includes the book Solar Thermal Conversion Technologies for Industrial Process Heating (CRC Press), and he has also edited special issues for Scopus-indexed journals. He holds six granted patents, including three international and three national patents. His current research interests focus on solar thermal conversion systems, thermal energy storage for low and medium-temperature applications, and advanced heat transfer techniques.
