Von klein auf begeistert sich die 1956 in Luxemburg geborene Astrid Koemptgen für alle Arten von Kunst. Nach ihrem Klavierstudium in Brüssel (Belgien) erhält sie eine Lehramtsstelle für Klavier am Konservatorium in Esch/Alzette (Luxemburg). An diesem ist sie bis zu ihrer Rente im Jahr 2017 tätig. In den 90er Jahren schreibt sie bereits Märchen für ihre beiden Söhne; das vorliegende Kinderbuch ist ihre erste Veröffentlichung. Johanna Karch wird 1967 im Naturpark Altmühltal in Bayern geboren. Sie verbringt ihre Freizeit am liebsten in der Natur, wenn sie nicht gerade ihren Leidenschaften ¿ dem Musizieren und dem Malen ¿ nachgeht. Besondere Freude bereitet es der ausgebildeten Kauffrau, sich kreativen Herausforderungen in Malerei, Grafiken, Präsentationen bis hin zu Bühnenbildern anzunehmen. Auch für sie ist es die erste Veröffentlichung.
