A mother of one beautiful teenager, both inside and out, Cyndy Grimm, former Media Relations Specialist and Adjunct Instructor for Microsoft Applications, only began exploring her creative writing side of her persona after being diagnosed with congenital arthritis and as a bilateral hip replacement surgical candidate. Physical impairments can be debilitating, but instead of wallowing in self-pity and as a former English minor, Ms. Grimm, put positive coping mechanisms to work and started to write. Based on a true story, "Eileen Supreme: Heroes In Our Midst", is the tale of a young girl who learns tolerance of differences among people when she meets a hearing impaired adult for the first time in her life. Cyndy's adventure takes her through witnessing someone different from herself being treated with a bullying attitude by people surrounding her.
