Despite its short lifespan, it achieved what print journalism had achieved in decades, and was able to provide many gains to the media profession and to... The reading public, as well as to other levels of beneficiaries such as advertisers, the political class, cultural elites, and others, but these gains were linked - and still are - to the development and spread of technology and to the nature of the audience that uses it. Many researchers tended early on to talk about the defeat of traditional journalism and the end of its era. The concept of journalism is no longer limited to press institutions in the traditional sense in print journalism. Therefore, the electronic newspaper must be characterized by complete independence from printed newspapers, and independence extends to include all stages, starting with planning.
