Some of the people in her former life try to help her and some try to harm her. Owner after owner she endures until she meets a family. They take her in and through then she is able to go back home and into the light. Where she is finally home at last.

I taught first and second grade in Nogales for twenty-six years. I have an Associate's Degree in Social Work from Pima Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Prescott College, and a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Northern Arizona University. I was also a Reading Specialist and taught English as a Second Language for decades. I am retired, disabled, and enjoy using my old film cameras.
