Die heute in Tirol lebende Sylvia Schwetz wurde 1969 in Wien geboren. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Einzelhandelskauffrau arbeitet sie zurzeit als Büroangestellte. Sie ist verheiratet und hat einen Sohn. In ihrer Freizeit hört sie Musik, schaut Filme und liest. Ihr schriftstellerischer Werdegang ist gerade noch am Anfang und im Aufbau. Im Alter von 52 Jahren begann sie, ihr erstes Buch mit dem Titel ¿Elizabeth und Vlad¿ zu schreiben ¿ eine Geschichte, die seit ihrer Kindheit in ihrem Kopf herumspukte. Nach der Veröffentlichung dieses Erstlingswerks ist dies bereits die zweite Zusammenarbeit der Autorin mit dem novum Verlag.
