Autorenporträt
Maelyn Bjork's first focus was an education so that she could teach, majoring in home economics while pursuing minor degrees in English and science. Writing was a diversion especially while raising children, and she began with short stories. Now after retiring from her teaching career, writing has become her new passion. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and a cat named Bebe. Fortunately, her three children and seven grandchildren live close enough to see every day. She is a member of the Utah Chapter of Romance Writers of America. She has a degree in home economics and English from the University of Utah and a master's degree in education, food, and nutrition from Arizona State University. She taught for twenty-two years, in which the last fifteen years were in an at-risk facility for teen moms and their young children. Maelyn and her husband have traveled extensively and love to see the world by taking ocean cruises, as well as car trips all over the western part of the United States.
