Mark Schenewerk hails from a small town in rural central Missouri and holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Illinois. After a distinguished career as an astronomer and geodesist on the East Coast of the United States, he retired in 2021. Now settled back in central Missouri with his beautiful wife and adoring cats, Mark indulges his love of backyard astronomy, reading, and watching classic science fiction and horror movies. Drawing inspiration from these passions, Mark weaves his deep appreciation for science into enthralling tales where ordinary individuals confront seemingly incomprehensible cosmic horrors and supernatural mysteries.
