As a young girl growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, Lisa spent a lot of time with her Uncle Emmanuel playing in his garden; chasing butterflies, climbing fruit trees, and helping him care for his plants. It was during this time, she developed a love for gardens and being outdoors. Her favorite childhood pastime was playing in the warm, tropical rain with her friends. When she became a woman, her love for the outdoors became more of a spiritual retreat. While connecting with God and nature, she discovered her passion for the healing arts and writing. That spiritual connection is what drives her to write about God, spirituality and healing. She believes it all started in Emmanuel's garden. Her first book, The Beauty of Spirit is available online with all major book distributors. Her poems and articles have been featured in Pure Inspiration magazine, The Belmont News, E-Touch Massage Newsletter, and Your Health magazine. She has also written several spa bodywork treatments and protocols. Her personal mission is to inspire, motivate and empower others to nurture their inner child, and to make time for spiritual nourishment.
