He is a graduate of Yale Divinity School and the author of four books, including most recently Leaving God Behind from Wipf and Stock Publishers. A former martial artist, pastor, and professor of religion and philosophy, David is known for his caring demeanor, conversational style, and appreciation for the dark asymmetries of life.
