Amplitude of the moving body is defined as the maximum displacement of the body, on one side of the moving path, from its centre point. The acceleration is directly proportional to the displacement, but always directed towards the centre point. The time taken by the moving body in one complete oscillation is defined as the periodic time of the body. The periodic time depends upon effective length of the thread, from which the oscillatory body is hanged and on gravitational acceleration. In case of spring motion, the periodic time depends on the constant force of the spring and mass of the body this excusive work has a perfect account of harmonic oscillations in interesting manner.
