Autorenporträt
I Enrico Bedini the founder of Sutton Memorials and E.Bedini & Sons LTD a gifted Sculptor born in Carrara Italy where the White Marble came from. I began working with modelling clay at an early age thus exhibiting the talents which have since burst into full flower. I was sent to art school at the age of 11 by the recommendation of my uncle Bruno himself a sculptor and an artist. "Enrico will become a fine sculptor" my uncle Bruno said. "Enrico will continue the family tradition dynasty of his grandfather and his great- grandfather also sculptors." I got my diploma from L'Istituto del Marmo di Carrara in 1956. I also attended the Academy of Art at Carrara and completed a four years course in just three years. During my third year I was named the outstanding artist of my class. I won a silver medal in 1958 with my first masterpiece work "Mother and Child" And also the invitation to the National Exhibition in Rome in 1959 where Henry Moore was also exhibiting. I have always considered in my 64 years of activity making Memorials Tombstones not an economic end but a service to the community.
