Therefore, there is an urgent need for mitigation of these contaminations in the environment. As a result, this book, titled "Environmental Applications of Magnetic Sorbents," anticipates providing a foundation for the development, utilisation, and applications of magnetic biosorbents for environmental sustainability and safety. This book comprises ten (10) chapters that will particularly focus on advanced research in the use of timely and innovative techniques in the synthesis of novel magnetic biosorbents using facile synthesis methods, as well as the characterization and extensive applications of the synthesised magnetic biosorbents in the bioremediation and decontamination of contaminants. The application of magnetic sorbents in seed germination and their use to improve photovoltaic performance are captured in this book. This book also focuses on the challenges and perspectives of magnetic sorbent applications for environmental sustainability.
