Autorenporträt
Kate Mooney has been teaching accounting to both undergraduates and MBA students since 1986, after earning her PhD from Texas A & M University. She is a licensed CPA in Minnesota and was appointed to that state's Board of Accountancy by Governor Tim Pawlenty in 2006. She serves on the Education Committees for the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and the American Accounting Association. She is on the Pre-certification Education Executive committee of the AICPA. She is chair of the Board of Directors of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, a $70 million social service agency that serves 300 communities in Minnesota. She and her husband live in Cold Spring, Minnesota where she is a Stearns County Master Gardener.
