In a subsequent study, the authors investigate the chemical composition of compounds from E. intermedium leaf essential oil, in addition to its modulatory and antibacterial action. Additionally, the biological aspects attributed to the medicinal benefits of sandalwood oil and alpha-santalol are presented along with relevant clinical evidence.
