OPM from Harvard Business School, PhD in Economics from USP, Master in Economics from FGV-EAESP and Bachelor in Economics from USP. During his initial 10-year tenure as President & CEO, Motta was responsible for company expansion and enhancement of new capabilities in culture transformation, organizational design and leadership development. In 2014, Motta published his best-selling book "A Liderança Essencial" in Brazil. The book encompasses most of his work as a thought leader and speaker during almost two decades. Between 2010 and 2015, Motta had three articles published by Harvard Business Review®. Motta's consulting work focuses on scenario analysis, strategic planning, business modelling, culture transformation, leadership development, organizational design, sales execution and CEO advisory. Between 2001 and 2014, he was also a MBA lecturer in leading business schools such as FGV, FDC and Insper. He lectured Global Economics, Business Strategy and Organizational Culture at Stockholm School of Economics, Thunderbird School of Global Management, John Hopkins University and GE Management Development Institute. Motta has published scientific papers in Financial Economics at Applied Economics Review, Political Economy Review, First Brazilian Workshop of Game Theory and Latin American Meeting of Econometric Society. He was a co-founder member of the Brazilian Society of Finance. Currently, he is a member of HBS Alumni Angels of Brazil and World's Most Ethical Companies Advisory Board. He is also a volunteer member of UNIBES. He also works as Board Member of Layer 2 Network Consulting. He is the Managing Partner of White Fox Capital. He is also a Managing Partner of Nexialistas.
