Liesbeth Dries is Associate Professor in the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy Group at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Wim Heijman is Professor of Regional Economics in the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy Group at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Roel Jongeneel is Assistant Professor in the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy Group at Wageningen University, and Senior Scientist at Wageningen Economic Research, The Netherlands. Kai Purnhagen is Associate Professor in the Law and Governance at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Justus Wesseler is Professor and chair of the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy Group at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. His research work is on bioeconomy economics and policies. The major focus is on the contribution of value chains to improve sustainability and the impact of new technologies and regulations on the value chain in this respect. He is member of the International Consortium of Applied Bioeconomy Research (ICABR), co-editor of AgBioForum, and coordinator of the EU funded project Monitoring the Bioeconomy (BioMonitor). He is the Series Editor for Palgrave Advances in Bioeconomy: Economics and Policies.
