Tom Casier is Reader in International Relations and Jean Monnet Chair at the Brussels School of International Studies, University of Kent, Brussels, Belgium. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Leuven, Belgium. Joan DeBardeleben is Chancellor's Professor and Jean Monnet Chair at the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at Carleton University, Canada. She is also Director of the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue.
