Ron Matthews is a Senior Lecturer in economics and defence development at the School of Defence Management, Cranfield Institute of Technology and has been a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Defence Studies, New Delhi, India. The present book is the product of a NA TO research Fellowship at the Hoover Institute, Stanford University.
