Autorenporträt
Paul Zeppelin was born in Moscow, Russia. He and his family suffered under the Communist regime where his father was sent to Gulag and executed. Paul, his wife and daughter received asylum in the United States and moved to Nashville in 1972 where he has made his home since. He taught art in several universities both here and abroad. He has been writing poetry all his life in both Russian and English. He is a prolific writer and has hundreds of poems in his portfolio. Regrettably he almost committed literary suicide when he burned over 1000 Russian poems. His poetry has refined elegance, deep philosophy and emotion. He often expresses sharply controversial views and insights into both individual and world issues.
