Autorenporträt

Gene Di Vita practiced medicine in the fields of family practice and psychiatry for nearly 50 years until he retired in 2007. Since then he has collected poems written throughout his career and resumed his interest in writing. His practice included extensive work with individuals, groups, families, and couples struggling with relationships, particularly with issues of intimacy and sexuality. He continues to write and live in Houston, with his wife, Kathleen, and their two Bengal cats, Tai and Qi, who constantly teach him about love.
