Autorenporträt
Mr. Stockdell has a BA in English from the university of Virginia, an MFA in Fiction Writing, and a Masters in Social Work (MSW). He worked in the computer industry for thirty years in a variety of capacities. While working at the Department of Agriculture, he wrote what was described as "one of the best systems studies ever written" in the Department. For many years he worked at a large pharmaceutical company where his order entry system allowed the company to be first in the industry in order-delivery cycle. He was a Management Consulting Manager at a large national consulting firm where he was rated excellent in technical skills and oral communication. He developed the outline for a Management Consulting program at Digital Equipment Company and successfully implemented it. Later on, he was Executive Vice-President for a start-up parallel supercomputer company.
