Produktbeschreibung
Detective Holland discovers the vandalism he is tasked with investigating is anything but simple. The house where the crime occured was once a brothel owned by a mobster named Marion 'Sunset' Puglisi, who is about to be released from prison in exchange for the decades worth of journals he allegedly stashed in the walls before going to prison. The holes in the wall of the former brothel indicate someone meant to find them before Puglisi could retrieve them.

The journals hold secrets members of NOPD, and Detective Holland's own family, would rather not have made public. They are also seen as the key to controlling New Orleans' underworld, which is still reeling from Hurricane Katrina nearly five years earlier. It seems everyone wants the journals and nobody wants to have their name found in one.

Puglisi's parole and the safety of New Orleans hang in the balance as Detective Holland searches for the journals and does everything he can to stall what looks to be a bloody gang war once the journals are located. As usual, he is going to need to find a way to solve the case and preserve justice in the murky legal waters of post-Katrina New Orleans.
