His passion for the town's history began at a young age, inspired by his grandfather, who often took Roger, his sister, and brother on walks through the battlefield from the Battle of Evesham.

The idea for Evesham: A Novel has been years in the making, born from a lifelong fascination with the town's past and the desire to tell its story in a way that captures both history and folklore.
