Günter Martin ist 1944 irgendwo in Deutschland geboren und lebte lange Zeit ein normales Leben. Er machte die Fachhochschulreife und arbeitete anschließend als Buchhalter und Industriekaufmann. Eine seiner Lieblingsaktivitäten ist das Wandern. Erst spät entwickelte sich bei ihm die Lust, zu schreiben. Das hatte mit einer ganz besonderen Begegnung mit einer Frau zu tun, mit der er zahlreiche kleine und große Abenteuer durchlebte. Diese hat er in seinem Buch ¿Liaison ¿ Erinnerungen eines Gastes¿ gesammelt.
