Autorenporträt
Andrew Scott is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the MSc Clinical Exercise Science Programme in the School of Sport, Health and Exercise Science at the University of Portsmouth. He is a researcher, lecturer and practitioner in exercise and physical activity for people with long-term conditions to support their health and quality of life. His main interest is applying research to support education in clinical exercise for implementation in routine health-care practice. David Broom is Professor of Physical Activity, Exercise and Health with over 20 years of experience working in health promotion and academia. Notable achievements include being an appointed member of the expert working group that updated the UK Chief Medical Officers Adult Physical Activity Guidelines published in 2019 and chair of BASES Division of Physical Activity for Health. He has recently submitted evidence to the Houses of Commons and House of Lords select committees regarding national plans for sport and recreation and the impact of major sporting and cultural events.
