CHERI L. PIERSON holds a Doctorate in Education from Northern Illinois University. She is an Associate Professor of TESOL in the Department of Applied Linguistics and International Education at Wheaton College Graduate School. She specializes in teacher education, methodology, curriculum development and English for Specific Purposes. She is the author and co-author of numerous books and articles in the area of theological English.
