Her story has been celebrated in articles or images shared by Parade, Fox News, U.S. News & World Report, New York Post, among many others. Stephanie participated in the USA Today Storytellers Project and has appeared multiple times on CBS's GoodDay Sacramento. She has run a dozen marathons-most notably the New York City Marathon Not bad for a girl who ran her first mile (as in ever!) at close to age forty.
