Present day: A young woman is brought to hospital seriously injured. However, the doctors soon lose hope of being able to save her life, her injuries are too severe. But then something strange happens: mystical figures from ancient legends appear and give the young woman a mysterious liquid. Future: A woman wakes up and looks into her reflection. Initially confused, she soon realizes that she has magical abilities and previously unknown physical powers. It is a mysterious world in which she awakens. It soon becomes clear that she is no longer on Earth, but on an island called "Paraside". She becomes a guardian and seems to be the only one destined to ward off the approaching disaster.

Maiko FL wurde 1993 geboren. Nach dem Realschulabschluss an der Maria-Wald-Schule in Aschaffenburg absolvierte sie eine Ausbildung zur Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik. Diesen Beruf übt sie nun seit mehreren Jahren aus. Die junge Autorin schreibt und zeichnet gerne. Eine weitere Lieblingsaktivität ist das Spielen von Computerspielen. Die Autorin verfügt über sehr viel Fantasie und bezeichnet sich selbst als sehr kreativ. ¿Der sichere Hafen: Die Vorgeschichte¿ ist ihre erste Buchveröffentlichung.
