Australian illustrator Ida Rentoul Outhwaite (18881960), best known for her winsome depictions of fairies, collaborated with her husband, Grenbry Outhwaite, on The Enchanted Forest, The Little Fairy Sisters, and Fairyland. Her four children frequently served as models for her illustrations.
