'falling from the fast lane'

It looks like Kate Harvey has fallen on her feet; running her own business from her house in London, a workable marriage, two kids, even best friends living in the same street. She can afford the occasional guilt trip home to her rural roots.

But one late-night phone call changes everything. Her mother is in hospital, though far from being a fragile old lady in desperate need, she's tripped after one too many lunchtime cocktails - but that isn't the only surprise in store.

Kate's fall to earth comes with a resounding crash, as all her ideals, hope and dreams are turned upside down. 'Fallen Women' is a tale of trust betrayed and lives rebuilt, internet dating and the strange comfort of returning home after life in the fast lane.
