She goes back to Hawaii and moves in with her parents. While trying to overcome post-traumatic stress and mental illness, Jenny becomes a single mother raising her two children, a full-time student and part-time worker, always looking towards the future of being self-sufficient. Jenny Duhaylonsod Delos Santos has been a clerk at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser for 15 years. Besides clerical duties, she occasionally writes articles for the newspaper. Jenny is an active member in District 49 Toastmasters and belongs to Kamehameha Toastmasters Club. She's also a member of Sisters in Crime-Hawaii and is currently the secretary for the mystery book club. She's been a member of the Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which gave her an opportunity to speak at various events.
