Autorenporträt

Valerie Bailey was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. At a young age, Valerie began to learn about the power and awesomeness of Christ. Similarly, she developed a profound passion for writing. After studying in Paris, as an exchange student, she would go on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language from Virginia State University. For several years she operated a Christian bookstore called Agape Gallery, located in her hometown. Although Valerie's bookstore enabled her to spread the Gospel and lead others to Christ, she eventually felt led to shift gears from entrepreneurship and back to her early interest of writing. Despite facing several personal and professional obstacles, Valerie held on to her faith in Christ and has published her first book entitled Fifth Blade. Her desire is to use her personal story to bring attention to the power and awesomeness of Christ.
