Autorenporträt
Elain Andrews was born in Canada and graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in English Literature. After graduation from university, Elain took a job with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, as a Sales Assistant and later as a Securities Agent. In that position, Elain obtained both a securities license and a California insurance license. She went to law school at Golden Gate University School of Law, in San Francisco, California, where she received her law degree. Elain also joined the United States Army Reserves where she honorably served as an officer in a psychological operations battalion and later as the company commander of a military intelligence unit. During this tenure, she also received distinguished recognition for her skill in cartography and counter-intelligence. After 23 years of honorable military service, Elain retired, in 2007, from the United Stated Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel having last served as an officer the Judge Advocate General Corps. As a State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, Elain has since been successfully practicing exclusively in the area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law since 1992. She currently has two offices where she practices full time: Lake Tahoe, California and San Francisco bay area, California. Elain is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California, the Truckee (Lake Tahoe) Bar Association, and of the American Bar Association. Elain is married and has three grown children. She now lives most of the time in Truckee, California.
