Kathy fixes things not machines or motors like her blue collar friends, but financial problems. Her specialties are financial planning, financial literacy education, taxes, and investment advice. She'd love to be like Samantha of the TV show Bewitched and just twitch her nose to repair everyone's problems. Unfortunately, no magic erupts when she wiggles her nose. She helps people using her knowledge, experience, and hard work. As co-founder of the financial advisory firm Wilson David Investment Advisors, Kathy's had the opportunity to transform the financial lives of her blue collar clients. An MBA and certifications as a Certified Financial Planner® and Investment Advisor Representative give her the tools she needs to help people overcome financial difficulties and achieve the goals they set. This book is written by a blue collar author for the blue collar work force. Kathy grew up in a blue collar family, fighting for space in a row-house by a steel mill with a dad who hadn't finished 8th grade and a mom who was a nurse before nurses had college degrees. In her 20-year career in construction she had a chance to work with and get to know many blue collar professionals whose skill and dedication gave them the opportunity to earn great salaries.
