C.J. Rivera is a philanthropist in his own right who hails from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. C.J. , although unbeknownst to most, has always had an eye and ear for those incapable of properly caring for themselves. Whether through a small donation on public transportation or just simply a kind word or gesture in passing, always attempting to intercede the plights of many. He draws strength and inspiration from both the triumphant and traumatic experiences of his youth which ultimately landed him in prison for a 9 year stint. During this time becoming emboldened towards change and being recognized as Valedictorian while receiving a degree through college programs fitted for the forgotten. All feats that are only the tip of a massive iceberg. An iceberg that was once an impediment, but now a friend. His ink is still not dry and He plans to stain the pages in the hearts of many more to come through his inspirational writings.
