Autorenporträt
The author lives with her husband on the edge of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.

Over the past thirty years she has slotted in writing as a hobby around three sons, a husband and a clerical job in insurance and accountancy. For at least twenty of these years she attended Creative Writing classes under the tutelage of the late Derek Fox, whose help and advice was invaluable as was the company of other students. Writing is a solitary occupation and it's good to know others have similar enthusiasm.

With sons now married and she and her husband recently retired, she expected to be able to dedicate more time to the hobby which over the years has become a passion. Now Patricia slots in writing between grandchildren, outings with her husband and other hobbies...but with just as much passion.
