First Victim was Nicholas Del Gandio's debut novel. Although a compounding pharmacist by profession, Nick was a man of letters and expressed much of his perspectives on life, love and happiness through poetry. Then one day Nicholas was moved to tell his provocative life story so that others might gain insight and meaning into their own lives through his words. Unfortunately, Nick died before First Victim was ready for press. It is Sleeping Giant Publishing's humble honor to publish Nick's work in the form he left it before his untimely death. We knew him but a short time as a kind and gentle man.
