With the wise guidance of their guardian, known only as the Old Man, the boys must rally their young countrymen and prepare for battle in order to protect their humble land while on a quest for the true owner of the stone.

Can the boys find the rightful owner of the stone before evil overshadows their country? Will humble, young farmers be prepared to battle experienced armies with only weeks to prepare? Can the boys carry the burden of the Flame Stone and right the wrongs of the world?

Autorenporträt

Luke K. Fundak was born in Lyon, France, and spent most of his childhood in Eastern Washington, where he began his first book, Flame Stone, at just 14 years old. During COVID-19, with all traditional school and activities at a standstill, he was able to finish his first manuscript. As a junior, Luke's family moved to South Carolina where he spent the next two years editing and revising while finishing high school. As a runner, many story ideas came while logging miles on trails and roads. Language arts teachers praise his ability to articulate and describe details, and write beyond his years. He is currently attending college to become an engineer. As an avid outdoorsman, Luke loves hiking, fishing, camping, and is always ready for a new adventure.
