Autorenporträt

Alma was born and raised in a small community just north of Birmingham Alabama. A couple of years after graduating high school in 1991, Alma enlisted in the US Air Force and began her storied career in public service. She became a mother to Nicholas in 1999 and not long after began her career working with the TSA in Charleston SC. In 2009 her daughter Avery was born. After moving to Hawaii, Alma completed her graduate coursework in Social Work. She is now living in the front range region of Colorado with her daughter Avery, their German Shepherd Sophie and two cats, Cali and Ranger. She is the Director of Psychological Health for the Air Force Reserve in the Front Range. Besides writing, Alma enjoys painting, traveling with her children and you may even find her belting out a tune at your local karaoke bar.
