This is collection of all of the poems I have written in my life so far. My poetry, as you will see is an outlet for my emotions. It has helped me to keep my head on straight throughout a life with no father figure. I have finally recovered and as you will see the poetry will become more bright and vivid as the book goes on. It starts out as a somewhat "dark" and gets "bright", so I encourage people of all ages to read this and use writing as a tool in their lives to help them through troubling times. It works, and it feels great to look back and see how much you can improve over time.

Hello, I am a young writer that just turned thirty and has been writing since the age of seven to relieve the pain of not having a father figure. I love the art, beauty and everything about it. It can lead you into a person's soul and it can release the inner fears and stress all in a matter of a few lines. This book is a composition of my life's poetry, from the dark times of addiction and struggles, to the great moments of freedom, when recovery reached down into my soul and a higher power gave me a spiritual awakening. I hope that with these poems, you yourself will get in touch with the hidden persona within and be able to get all the help that is possible with the work of art that is provided.
