Human knowledge remains diverse in its three shades: religious-theological, philosophical resulting from contemplation, and scientific based on doubt and testing of facts, which is the prominent characteristic that distinguishes man from all other beings. He is a being who believes, observes, and contemplates his surroundings, where his mind is stirred by doubt and questioning. The major issue remains the possibility of religion, philosophy, and science converging at one point, or the possibility of subjecting religion and philosophy to the scientific critical method and its research study. In this book, Ismail Mazhar studies one of the important religious myths among most peoples through objective scientific comparisons, which is the famous story of Noah's flood. This study comes to shed light on the eternal story, which has not changed over time, and which was promoted by the heavenly religions and Assyrian mythology.
