Autorenporträt
Pat Ford's passion for photography began in the early 1960s while he was a student at the University of Notre Dame. After attending Columbia Law School and while serving in the Navy JAG Corps, Ford was stationed in Pensacola and then Key West, where he turned his love of fly fishing to salt water. An active member of the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), he has held sixteen fly rod world records. Ford wrote his first article for Salt Water Sportsman magazine in 1969 and has been contributing to most major fishing magazines ever since. The author of The Best Fly Fishing Trips Money Can Buy and Fly-Fishing Daydreams, he is a regular contributor to IGFA's Annual Yearbook and Fly Fishing in Salt Water magazine. He lives in Miami, Florida.Lefty Kreh's name is synonymous with world-class fly fishing. He is the winner of numerous awards, including the American Sportfishing Association's Lifetime Achievement Award. In 1991, Lefty was honored by the U.S. Postal Service with a postage stamp bearing the image of his famous "Deceiver" fly. He lives in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
