Autorenporträt
Simi Malhotra is Director of the Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research and a Professor at Department of English, Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi. Her research interests include contemporary literary and cultural theory, culture studies, and Indian philosophies and aesthetic practices. Among other awards and honours, she was the recipient of the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Award for ranking 1st in M.A. English. She has more than 19 years of teaching and research experience, and has published 5 books and edited volumes, 53 articles and 12 book reviews. She has participated in a host of conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia and panel discussions. Sakshi Dogra is an Assistant Professor and teaches English literature and language at Gargi College (University of Delhi). Her research focuses on the study of youth cultures, popular fiction, cultural studies, affect studies and theories of self and subjectivity, and she has published numerous papers in theses areas. Kanika Sharma holds an M.Phil. and currently teaches at the English Department of Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, University of Delhi. Her research interests include cultural studies, memory studies, collective memory, film studies, visual arts and literature. She is closely associated with CATA (Centre for Academic Translation and Archiving) and CSVMT (Centre for Studies in Violence, Memory and Trauma) at the University of Delhi.
