Judy Spoon Ertel, world traveler and author extraordinaire, spent her youth in several areas of Southwestern Oklahoma. In a very busy past life, Judy wrote a newspaper column, serialized short stories, directed plays for civic theater, co-owned and co-managed a furniture store, produced advertising, and taught middle school and high school in Central and West Texas. She is very familiar with life in small Texas towns like Wanderwood TX, the fictional home of Addie Girard. Indeed, Addie first came into existence in Central Texas but soon grew to fruition in Central Colorado. Currently, Judy co-habs with her daughter, Kate, and their three cats and is actively writing the next Addie Girard Mystery!
