This very short (short enough to read on your lunch break) yet informative e-book briefly explains in 30 minutes or less the good, bad, and ugly of the military from a woman's point of view. The topics discussed range from media reports of sexual assaults, to advice for 30-year-old women about joining the military at age 30.
This e-book was written specifically for free-spirited, single or divorced women (with no children) who have, or have had, an interest in joining the military. Even if you have no interest in joining the military you will still find some of the information to be quite interesting.

Autorenporträt
Selena Brown is a happy-go-lucky, free-spirited sista who joined the Army in 1984 at the age of 17 while she was still a senior in high school. 21 years later, in 2005, she retired as a Sergeant First Class (SFC)/E-7 at the age of 39.

She currently enjoys every minute of her military retirement by reading, writing free e-books, volunteering, mentoring, tutoring (algebra), mastering the fine art of doing something close to nothing, watching cartoons and reruns of Scrubs (best TV show ever!), spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cruising, visiting animal sanctuaries, running, hiking, playing tennis and badminton, and singing (horribly and off-key) on 30-day road trips.

Her 3 Simple Rules For a Happier Life:

Rule #1: Misery dipped in chocolate is still misery.

Rule #2: Don't spend money you don't have, to buy things you don't need, to impress people you don't like.

Rule #3: Having money doesn't make you happy; having enough money is what truly makes you happy.
