Dr. Steven N. Sparta is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry (Voluntary), University of California at San Diego School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor of Law, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and Adjunct Professor of Psychology, San Diego State University. He was Chair of the Ethics Committee of the American Psychological Association; former President and Fellow of the San Diego Psychological Association; and previously served as Chief Psychologist, Children's Hospital San Diego. Dr. Sparta is Boarded in Clinical and Forensic Psychology (ABPP) and maintains an independent practice. Dr. Gerald P. Koocher is Associate Provost and Professor of Psychology at Simmons College and a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. Having served as the President of the American Psychological Association (APA) and as the Chief Psychologist at Children's Hospital Boston, he has authored more than 200 articles and book chapters and authored or edited 15 books.
