This is neither a novel nor is it a book on Church history. This book is written with human relationships in mind. It is written by a counselling psychologist to help nurture and support the ways through which we relate with one another. And that makes it both educational and entertaining to anyone who really wants to follow more on the dynamics of human relationships in the family or within the larger society. Somehow many people become ensnared by their relationships and become slaves to those interests and things who have shared their passions. Even though some cultures may be in self-denial, this does not take away the fact of the universal problems in human relationships. With this book, I am replacing doctrinal clichs with simple everyday stories that may help people to freshly comprehend the love of God. As a beneficiary of the immense universe of graciousness I want to point to those roots which may sustain and nurture the human family around us. The love of God makes the Gospel shine brighter in the warmth of Jesus sacrificial love for the world. How was the life lived out in those days? Not having books to depict such everyday relationships, I decided to write on such an amazing subject of becoming love-shaped people in our relationships. The world is full of challenges arising from different cultural expectations; it is in grasping some of the issues that we are able to contribute a purposeful response as individuals. I hope that this book would clarify experiences and more importantly raise questions that would stimulate community leaders to develop further social cohesion and friendship.

Born on August 9, 1957 at Ijebu-Imusin, Ogun State of Nigeria, Venerable Dr. Stephen Ade¿do?`tun Ade¿sa`nya` was made a deacon in 1991, Priested 1992 and installed a Canon in 1999. He taught Pastoral Psychology, Care and Counselling at Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure from 1998-2003, and collated Archdeacon of Iwade and Vicar of Emmanuel Church, Italupe, Ijebu-Ode in 2003. He studied at The Evangel Theology Faculty, Osijek, Croatia, B.Th. (l990), Ogun State University M.Ed. (1997) and University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti, Ph.D (2003). He was Hon Associate Priest at St Matthew's, Elephant and Castle, London (2007 - 2009) and the Priest in Charge of Romaldkirk with Cotherstone, and Laithkirk and Startforth united with Rokeby and Boldron with Brignal and Bowes in the Diocese of Leeds, UK (2009 - 2013). He is the Vicar in plurality of St Cuthbert, Burnley and St Luke the Evangelist, Brierfield in the Church of England in Lancashire, U.K since 2013. Stephen is a writer who has lived and interacted in both mono-cultural and multicultural contexts since he first left his native African home as a teenager. He is well placed to write on the socio-religious need for tolerance among participants who daily are strenuously pushing for globalization of ideas. This tolerance in relationships are best cultivated from the family dynamics and nurtured by the way community members receive each other and others who may not think or speak according to some set patterns. These issues of relationships were beautifully laid out by Stephen in his book; Fragmented Yet One - insights from an outsider.
