This article is devoted to Francis Bacon's discovery of the flaws in our thinking, inherent - if they are not fought and if they are not overcome - without exception to all people. F. Bacon called these flaws "idols that besiege the minds of people." We, in the miniature work presented here, sought to reveal the connections and relationships that really exist between the flaws ("idols") of our thinking and those negative consequences of the decisions we make and the actions corresponding to them as a result of our non-resistance to these "idols".
