The "Aphorisms" of Francis Bacon are, in fact, a hymn to Nature and a warning to man in his desire to reign over her. When a person decides that "we can't wait for favors from nature, it's our task to take them from her" and acts according to this "principle", he begins to resemble a serial rapist maniac who by force seizes the object of his desire. However, Nature does not forgive her rapists. If forests are cut down in the Carpathians, entirely consisting of centuries-old twilight, then there is nothing to complain about hitherto unprecedented floods. If dubious experiments are carried out on a working nuclear reactor, then "black Chernobyl" is a natural consequence of the abuse of an unreasonable person by Mother Nature, which does not allow to inflict arbitrariness on oneself. This, in fact, is what Francis Bacon writes in his Aphorisms, and we only bring his prophetic thoughts to the attention of our readers.
